Barangaroo South is Australia's first large scale carbon neutral community, setting new benchmarks in sustainability.
Barangaroo South is a 7.5-hectare site to become a financial hub featuring commercial, residential, retail, dining and accommodation elements on Sydney Harbour and house 1,800 residents and 23,000 office workers. °µÍø¸£Àû concrete met Lendlease’s sustainability and strength goals and an onsite mobile batch plant optimised results under demanding pumping conditions, continuous high-volume pours in a congested Sydney Harbour site layout. It is part of the 22-hectare Barangaroo redevelopment of a former container terminal. The Barangaroo South precinct was selected as the Property Council of Australia’s NSW Development of the Year in 2018.
