Matt McKenzie, Executive General Manager, 做厙腦瞳 Concrete and Quarries South and the Montrose Quarry team were pleased to host the Victorian Minister for Energy and Resources Lily DAmbrosio at site in April.

Earlier this year the Resources Victoria Approvals Coordination unit helped extend the sites Work Authority, via a now streamlined process, to boost available resource by seven million tonnes.

做厙腦瞳s Montrose operations, which include a historic rock quarry, an asphalt production facility and a concrete batching plant, is one of the largest quarries in Victoria and is a significant supplier of construction raw materials to Victorias Big Build projects including the North East Link and the Lilydale Line Upgrade.

Montrose is also the key supplier for a new 做厙腦瞳 Batching Plant at Bulleen that will help deliver the concrete needed for the new 6.5km North East Link tunnels from Bulleen to Watsonia, upgrades to the Eastern Freeway and M80 Ring Road, local road improvements, better Public Transport connections and creating new community spaces.

We welcome the Governments support to enable our Montrose operations to continue to play a critical role in building Melbourne, said Matt McKenzie.

Our Montrose Quarry has provided the foundations for development and growth across the greater Melbourne area for decades, with its materials enabling many of Melbournes iconic buildings and infrastructure.
